What members say…
‘’The Habia Education Forum about the Governments review of level 2 qualifications was fascinating. I found it so powerful to listen to individuals who are so passionate in ensuring that the qualifications for hair and beauty, moving forward, are bridging the gap between education and employment. The work you do at Habia for our industry really is inspiring.’’ Stephanie Parry, Educator/Lecturer
‘’For me personally, the HABIA education forums and skills showcases have allowed me to keep up to date with the education sector across all areas including qualifications, funding and Department of Education news, to name a few areas. It has allowed me to have my say across important areas of our industry and learn about excellent opportunities in networking with colleagues, both in private and further education, and business. I would definitely recommend becoming a HABIA member and joining the Education Forums and Skills Showcases.’’ Kim Ford, Global Consultancy Examiner and Lecturer, Business Support at Beauty Enterprise Solutions.
‘’I’d highly recommend everyone to work with HABIA, it is an honour to be part of such a reputable organisation’’ Janis Taylor, Managing Director Aesthetica Professional.

Opportunities
We often have partners who want to offer Habia members opportunities or discounts, or the chance to be involved in projects or press/promotional features.
‘Skills Showcases’
We help colleges enhance their delivery of regulated qualifications and help salons and Spas to keep up to date with new developments. Many educators have been undertaking curriculum planning in readiness for the autumn term, and salons/spas are continually reviewing their offer to respond to client needs and increase profitability. With this in mind we hold monthly sessions for Habia members called a Skills Showcase. We held some great skills showcase before summer. We heard from great companies about their offer for colleges and salons – they shared their story, history, ethos, specialism, their product, brand or HABIA endorsed course. Many are now working with educators and salons to help enhance the business and /or curriculum and if they can provide an offer for staff up-dating, CPD etc.
We look forward to seeing you at our up-coming Education Forums. We’re busy planning a discussion with College Hair/Beauty managers about how they ensure success in a very competitive environment, a session on the new licence for non-surgical cosmetic procedures, a textured hair update, plus working with the many companies featured in our monthly Skills Showcase.
Right now, we have a time limited offer saving over 40% off the normal annual membership – at just £49.99 for the year. That’s just £4.17 a month! This offer is on for the autumn season.
