Trafford College is hosting this year’s WorldSkills UK National Finals on 14-16th November. 8 Finalists will compete for medals over 3 days. These competitions are a great way for students to improve their skills and be celebrated.
Hundreds of students took part in this competition process, which takes 7 months and includes regional heats before the Finals. Students and apprentices who have entered WorldSkills state that the competition has helped them to improve not only their technical skills, but the numerous skills required for more lucrative employment as well.
WorldSkills UK highlights the importance of developing the skills that employers are looking for, and showcases the amazing young people we have coming into our industry. Given the right tools, learners will be able to achieve their career goals and realise their potential.
Medal winners will be announced at a medal ceremony at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on the evening of the 17th of November. If you would like to visit the finals email joan.scott@tcg.ac.uk
