If you’re involved in training, sales or deliver demonstrations, or you’re aiming to start teaching then you may be looking to further your skills in education and training. When searching for a teaching course, be sure to check it is an Ofqual Regulated qualification. This will ensure it is a robust recognised qualification that will be respected across the industry and education sector.
Habia offer the Level 3 AET course, this provides the basic level of knowledge and development of skills to qualify as a professional teacher at level 3. You will need to complete 3 units –
• a mandatory unit about roles and responsibilities and legislation
• a generic assessing unit
• a generic teaching unit
The course is delivered via a virtual classroom environment, so you have real live lessons, within a group of learners, and the support of an experienced teacher. We often run this course on Mondays, to fit with those working in salons who are free on Mondays. Currently the course is taught over 6 Mondays, with extra support via individual tutorials. The next teaching course starting on 10th February 2025.
